Five Mile Mountain Road is a Franklin County, Virginia-based old time, bluegrass, and classic country band with an emphasis on dance music. The band features Billy Hurt on fiddle, Seth Boyd on banjo and guitar, Brennen Ernst on guitar and banjo, and Steven Dowdy on upright bass.

Hailing from Grayson County, Virginia, Hard Cider, showcases a wide range of mountain music, from originals by the band’s founders to classics. The group’s performances bear many influences, including country rock, bluegrass, and singer-songwriter Americana. In 2014, Hard Cider was named the Americana Instrumental Group of the year by Blue Ridge Acoustic Uprising.
