East Nash Grass

Few bands do bluegrass as well as Nashville’s East Nash Grass, an ensemble of standout players from a city known for the quality of its musicians. East Nash Grass came by its name and reputation honestly, honing their performance chops night after night on the tiny stage of Dee’s Country Cocktail Lounge on Music City’s east side. With James Kee on guitar, Cory Walker on banjo, Harry Clark on mandolin, Gaven Largent on dobro, Maddie Denton on fiddle, and Jeff Picker on bass, East Nash Grass has quickly become one of the top young bands in bluegrass music, bringing swagger, staggering abilities, and high energy to every performance.

The Amanda Cook Band

With their soul-wrenching songs and light-hearted, down-to-earth style, The Amanda Cook Band creates an undeniably strong connection with its audience and offers a great mix of traditional and contemporary bluegrass. Cook acquired a love of bluegrass from her father, an avid banjo player with whom she formed her first band, High Cotton in 2007. Fueled by a desire to create her own sound, Cook stepped out on her own in 013 and released her first solo album, which made it to the top 150 Roots Music Bluegrass Album Charts in 2014 and 2015. After her chart-topping success, Cook formed a touring band with Carolyne Van Lierop on banjo and vocals, Josh Faul on upright bass and vocals, Brady Wallen on lead guitar, Troy Boone on mandolin, and George Mason on fiddle.
