Front County will play the fourth annual Sounds of the Mountains concert series at 7:30 p.m., January 19, at the Willingham Theater in Yadkinville, North Carolina. Once again, the Blue Ridge Music Center and Yadkin Arts Council are partnering to present the series, which features blues, bluegrass, country, folk, and Americana artists.
Fashioning their own take on roots music and indie folk, Front Country has forged a sound bent on merging the musical past with the future. The result lies somewhere between indie folk and Americana, in a nether region they've come to embrace as their own.
The series concludes with Fireside Collective on January 26.
Tickets for individual peformances are $25. A four-show pass is available for $80, and three-show pass for $65.
The Blue Ridge Music Center presents off-site concerts throughout the year in partnership with partner organizations and venues. The Foundation proudly supports programming presented by the Music Center to preserve the cultural and musical heritage of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
