Fireside Collective from Asheville, North Carolina, delights listeners with memorable melodies and contemporary songwriting. While roots music lies at the core of the band’s songs, a willingness to explore the boundaries and present relevant new material remains fundamental to their sound. Fireside Collective’s energetic live performances show off their instrumental proficiency, colorful harmonies and innovative musical arrangements.
The Trailblazers will open the performance. Their repertoire includes elements of bluegrass, Americana, folk and jazz music. With a solid foundation in bluegrass, the band is constantly looking for new ways to make their mark in progressive acoustic music. The Trailblazers are the 2018 IBMA Momentum Band of the Year, and have won many prestigious contests, including the MerleFest Band Competition (2017), and the SPBGMA International Band Championship (2018).
