In honor of the National Park Service’s centennial year, the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation is teaming up with 17 Asheville-area breweries for special "Find Your Pint" beer releases and fundraising events throughout August and September to benefit the Blue Ridge Parkway. Each brewery is honoring the National Park Service in an exciting way.
Join us for a celebration at Highland Brewing’s tasting room as we raise a toast to 100 years of the National Park Service! $1 per pour of our special release beer will go to the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, the primary fundraiser and trusted steward of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Donations from the evening’s sales will go toward the 2016 Centennial Challenge, as the nonprofit works to match funding allocated by Congress to address critical repairs along the Parkway. The Foundation is also the nonprofit of the month and will receive a portion of all sales in August.
The Beer: Effervescent and light-bodied, Cranberry Ridge Wheat is brewed with lemon peel and cranberries, bringing a refreshing tartness to the soft mouthfeel of wheat. The beer is named for Cranberry Ridge at milepost 452.1 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. 5% ABV
