Since her debut solo release in 1994, Jeanette Williams has become one of the most successful and celebrated women in bluegrass music. She has received more than 10 award nominations from the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America, including three wins for Female Vocalist of the Year, plus two IBMA awards and two songwriting awards. Her husband and partner, Johnny Williams, is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and accomplished guitarist. He has been named Virginia State Champion Male Vocalist, and was the bluegrass division winner of the prestigious Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at MerleFest in 1998 and 1999. Jeanette and Johnny will be joined on stage by well-known Galax banjo picker and owner of Barr’s Fiddle Shop, Stevie Barr, and by talented young fiddler Daniel Greeson (Rich in Tradition).

The Cabin Creek Boys play old-time hillbilly music from the mountains of Southwest Virginia and northwest North Carolina, performing at area fiddlers’ conventions, festivals, and square dances. The Cabin Creek Boys entertain audiences with old-time hoedown instrumentals, bluegrass songs, two-step numbers, and waltzes. The group is led by the multi-instrumentalist husband and wife duo Chris and Erika Testerman, Jackson Cunningham (guitar), Trish Kilby Fore (banjo), and Jerry Steinberg (bass). Tickets are $10.
