Roberts Bass splits his time between Winston-Salem, N.C., and Meadows of Dan, Va. He currently serves as the fractional CFO of two early stage growth companies. He also mentors other start-up businesses and invests in early stage firms through his membership in the VentureSouth angel network. Recently, he served as the CFO of the Forsyth Humane Society, the largest animal rescue organization in Forsyth County, N.C. Roberts had a 28-year career leading corporate and investment banking teams serving multiple industries nationally. Prior to banking, in the 1980s, he was CFO of a family-owned business and worked in the Office of the Treasurer of the United States. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Wake Forest University. In addition to serving the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, he serves on the Board of The Camel City Jazz Orchestra and is active in his church, in community theater, and in a rock band.
