A native North Carolinian, Charles grew up in Winston-Salem where he currently resides with his wife Susan. He is a UNC Chapel Hill and UNC Greensboro graduate. He has worked with physicians, physician groups, hospitals, and other health care related companies for more than 50 years. In addition, he has served on numerous business, not-for-profit, governmental, and religious governing bodies.
He has two daughters and is the proud grandfather of four. He and his family enjoy their second home in Linville, N.C.
