Gifts that Give Back
Fly-Fishing Guidebook
The book Fly Fishing the Blue Ridge Parkway: North Carolina Section by Sam Johnson makes a great gift for anyone looking to cast a line on the rivers and streams along the route. Johnson details where to go, the history of the waterways, and the types fish you can expect to catch. He is also generously donating 10 percent of proceeds from sales of the title to the Foundation. Visit wildbearings.com.
Blue Ridge Moments T-shirts
Our friends at Blue Ridge Moments and Nature Bound Co. have teamed up to create the Diamond Ridge Series T-shirts to benefit the Parkway. There are two colors to choose from and a long sleeve option, too. Ten percent of the proceeds from this series will support Foundation projects and programs.
TRACK & Kip plush toys
Do you love Kids in Parks TRACK Trails? Maybe you know a young explorer who would enjoy a friendly, soft adventure buddy? The Kids in Parks program's lovable mascots Kip, the dragonfly, and TRACK, the dog, are available as plush toys. Take them along for a hike through your favorite parks! A portion of proceeds help introduce more kids to the great outdoors. Order at shop.americasnationalparks.org.
Blue Ridge Music Center Concert Series Passes
Give a loved one - or yourself - the gift of live music. Season passes for the 2021 summer concert series at the Blue Ridge Music Center can now be purchased online! The bluegrass, Americana, folk, and country performances will be hosted in the wide-open outdoor amphitheater at milepost 213 on the Parkway in Galax, Virginia. Choose between a full-season ($175), half-season ($120), or “pick 3” pass ($80). Sales support musical programming at the National Park Service facility.
Give in Honor of a Loved One
As we celebrate a season of thankfulness, why not make a gift in honor of someone you love? It’s a wonderful way to tell them you care about the national park that brings you both so much joy. Your honoree will receive a Parkway card in the mail announcing your donation. (Give by December 17 for arrival by Christmas.) You can also choose to print your own card or send an e-mail notification. Donate
