A Community of Stewards
Working hand-in-hand with our community of stewards to protect the parkway we love, the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation preserves culture and history, protects natural resources, enhances visitor's enjoyment, and creates more fulfilling experiences.
The Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation is committed to working closely with the National Park Service, gateway communities, and YOU to protect the parkway forever.
Making a Difference
Since its founding, our Community of Stewards has invested over $24 million in initiatives that enhance the Blue Ridge Parkway. Through programs in education, preservation, visitor services, and natural resource protection, the foundation is dedicated to keeping America’s favorite drive accessible and beautiful.
Programs
The Blue Ridge Parkway is not just a scenic route. It's a hub for adventure, exploration, and community connection. The Foundation works tirelessly to preserve this 469-mile treasure by offering programs that enrich visitor experiences and keep the Parkway's history and culture vibrant for generations to come.
