25 WAYS YOU CAN HELP THE BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY

More than 20 million visitors travel the Blue Ridge Parkway each year, but many of you live far away from the southern Appalachian mountains, and aren't always sure how you can make a meaningful contribution.

Well, there are many, many ways you can help Share the Journey®!

Some of these ideas require very little time or effort, but can bring tremendous benefit to the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can make a difference right now! Take a look at the list and see how you can help preserve the Blue Ridge Parkway!

1)	Make an annual gift to the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation to enhance everyone's Parkway experience. Every gift, regardless of size, helps.
2)	Buy or renew your Blue Ridge Parkway license tag.
3)	Wear Blue Ridge Parkway logoed clothing or display Blue Ridge Parkway souvenirs and collectibles at home and at work.
4)	Stay educated about news from the Blue Ridge Parkway and share what you know with others.
5)	Update your mailing address, e-mail address, and areas of interest by calling 336.721.0260.
6)	Support the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation at Work EarthShare North Carolina makes it possible for employees to support the environment through workplace giving programs. EarthShare NC is a giving option in all North Carolina state and federal workplaces, and some local government and private sector workplace campaigns. You can make a payroll deduction contribution to the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation right at your workplace. Check out ESNC's website for a complete list of employers who have opened their annual workplace campaigns to EarthShare North Carolina. 8)	Become a Parkway Steward by donating through the monthly giving program to the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation.

10)	Act as an ambassador and share your love of the Blue Ridge Parkway; encourage friends and family members to visit the Blue Ridge Parkway.
11)	Take a hike on one of the more than 100 trails on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
12)	Introduce a friend or remember a loved on with an honor or memorial gift to the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation.
